Further south to the splendid colonial city of Arequipa and the Colca canyon with its resident condors; or west to breathtaking Lake Titicaca with its floating reed villages and centuries old culture and traditions.
Argentina & Chile:
The Belle Epoch architecture and avenues of Buenos Aires, the route north to the vineyards and canyons of Cafayate and Salta, a glass of Malbec and asado in Mendoza; or lonely, most beautiful Patagonia with it gauchos, glaciers, lakes and luxuriously isolated estancias. Bariloche and the lake district and then south to El Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier, and across into Chile and the razor sharp peaks of Torres del Paine.
