Askari Travel and AMREF

Muriel Truter, owner of Askari Travel, has been an avid supporter of AMREF since 1997, and sits on the Canadian Board of Directors. She also leads the charge and Chairs AMREF’s major fundraising event, the Africa Marketplace Gala every spring in Toronto.

Muriel was instrumental in introducing AMREF to their largest individual donor, and works tirelessly connecting like-minded people to the cause. Her wonderful suppliers and business associates have also been extremely generous with sponsorships and gift-in-kind donations.
